A Karlín bistro needed more than an online business card. The result is a website the team uses every day — daily menu, online reservations and catering enquiries all in one place.

About the project
Dvorek Karlín is a relaxed bistro on Křižíkova street — weekday lunch specials, weekend brunch and catering for corporate and private events. A place with character, loyal regulars and a clear offer — but a website that didn't reflect any of it.
The goal was concrete: replace the outdated website with a modern platform that would serve as a full operational and communication channel. Online reservations with time-slot selection, a daily menu manageable without a developer, a clear path for catering enquiries.
Appitect delivered the complete solution — from design and build through online reservations to content management. One place for everything the bistro needs online.

The old website — where it started
The previous website didn't reflect the bistro's offer or character. Online reservations were missing, menu updates required outside help and catering enquiries could only come in by phone.



A website that works every day
Daily menu
Soup and three mains are updated in a few minutes with no developer needed. Guests always see the current menu — on the website and via the Instagram link.
Online reservations
Guests book a table any time, without calling. Staff enable and disable individual slots in the admin — guests only see what the team has opened. Confirmation arrives by email and the booking appears in the overview.
Catering enquiries
The form collects event type, guest count, date and description — and the enquiry arrives directly in the team's inbox. No phone calls for basic information.

Pick a date
Only days with available slots are shown. Closed days and fully booked days simply disappear.
Pick a time
Staff enable and disable individual slots in the admin — guests only see what the team has opened.
Enter details
Name, email, phone, guest count and an optional note. Nothing more, nothing less.
Receive confirmation
A confirmation email goes out automatically. Staff receive a notification and the booking appears in the overview.
